The only glimmer of hope I have—and it remains just a glimmer—is the Trump-Kennedy ticket being allowed to run and win without either another assassination or election theft. Once in office Kennedy may be enough of a politician to navigate Trump’s great vanity and narcissism toward a coherent policy of constructive domestic reform and dismantling the empire. Given the assassination of Kennedy’s uncle, his father, and cousin (John, Jr.), and given the blatant theft of the 2000 presidential election and so many local ones like Kari Lake without effective political push-back; given the persecution of the January 6th PSY-OP “insurrectionists” succeeded wonderfully despite piecemeal reversals over time, and its planners go unscathed, one has to imagine a scenario in which the various Deep State-Ruling Elite actors decide that they have gone too far and that their own interests would be better served by putting Trump-Kennedy at the helm. That takes more imagination than I have these days.
It is extremely difficult to differentiate between Roman Empire decay and planned destruction of the Nation-State and there are clearly elements of both operating. If the general collapse foreseen by McGregor happens these elites have already paved the way for a fully totalitarian dystopia of total social control with W.H.O. forcing more constraints and vaccine health upon us while sustainably-programmed CBDC abandons growth in favor of a centralized totalitarianism telling us how and where and when to spend our chits before they or we expire, preferably the latter.
I agree with your concerns, and I don't kave any more specialized knowledge than you do.
I suspect that the Davos plans are too extreme, and that US retail-banking (imperial retail banking) will fight for position. Tom Luongo propounds that viewpoint. There is warbetween the Fed and the Eurodollar banking interests. The elites of finance are apparently at least that divided, and China, and Russia and Iran, and Turkey. I think that Davosian CBDC dreams would suck wealth from too many factions that are now in a position to say "No". If one could hold some cash it might be prudent, based on Macgregor's specific concern of bank closures.
Thank you Dr John for this thought provoking blog - so much detail and credible scenarios. All we can do is wait and see how this plays out - stacked up with food and water. Talking of which supper looks PDG..enjoy!

After reading the Micheal Hudson interview, it sure seems like we, the USA, are doomed. What a mess. And it's taken a long time to get to this. I'm not getting a sense that there is a way out of this. Not very encouraging. Maybe it's time for a new 'standard'. Forget the 'Gold Standard'. Instead, create the 'Diamond Standard' or 'Block Chain' standard? Created by other than the existing Central banks. Take a cue from Crypto-currencies ? Throw a tremendous 'wrench' into the global finance scheme ? No longer Dollars... 'Cryptos' ? Ah well... we can still dream... (A new 'Declaration of Financial Independence' ?)
Cash, water, propane and vegetales are good to hold. The whole Hurricane-thing. I know you have done that drill. Toilet-paper. Americans hoard toilet paper, but I would also hoard good coffee, sea salt, cooking oil, onions and garlic, beans, rice, canned tomatoes and sauce, and so on.

Thanks. I like 'Tasty Bite' Indian food packets. They last a good long while and can be eaten cold or warmed. 'Channa Masala' or 'Madras Lentils'. 'Basmati Rice' packets by the same company. These are all pre-cooked. Get them on Amazon. Raw Brown Rice is also good. I remember that the Viet Cong travelled a whole day with only a cheekful of brown rice, slowly dissolving, as their food. Lentils soaked in water overnight, and then drained, is also good. Mixed with some Tostitos mild salsa. Also add 1/2 a small can of Goya Black Beans... and it's a Feast ! Good Wild Rice can also be soaked (sprouted) over a few days. An amazing treat. Add olive oil, salt, garlic powder, chopped pepper, pistachio kernels for a great filling meal. (Goya minced Garlic in little jars.) Bariani Olive oil is estate bottled in California. Great stuff to have on Hand. First Quality Organics 'Virgin Oil de Coco Creme' Coco oil is also great. Hain Sea Salt with Iodine works. Down here, we also have Gandules, or pigeon peas (black eye peas) growing wild. Eat them raw when the pods are green, or cook-soak the beans when pods turn brown. Also Yucca growing in ground. Wild growing Bananas, Plantains & Papaya. Sunflower Sprouts & Arugula. Mango season (2 months) just passed. I have 2 fruiting Mango Trees. One tree dropped between 100-200 mangos daily ! Bananas, Plantains & Papayas fruit all year long.
The Biden new sim harris as first woman president seems to be spot on, given the scandal involved with the Biden crime family already in the open and lamestream media now seeing the handwriting on the wall, I too don’t see Biden finishing his term.
I also agree with the coming meltdown and failure of financial trust.
And disintegration of the food growing, processing and delivery supply chains.
If SARS-cov-2 was as dangerous as “they” said every clerk at at grocery store would have caught it.
And our supply should have cratered.
Yes Dr John, SurThrival is going to come down to gardens and access to water ( food grows where water flows ) and ability to see reality without the blinders of cognitive dissonance and corrup media government alliance.
As we heard from one of the Clintons related to a previous campaign, “if this gets out, half of Washington is going to jail” well, there’s always a chance of that, but only after there has been no food and fuel deliveries.
Remember what Gerald Celente always says, when all else fails they take you to war.
Perilous times we live in
Know your food
Know your supplies
Know your own medicines
Know your fragility and the wicked web they have woven.
Painted themselves into a corner and we know how monopoly games end when the favored player starts to lose.
He gets up and turns the monopoly board over ending the game.
The current money powers will turn the board over before they allow a new paradigm replace THEM
THEY have everything to lose and nothing to gain when the house cards is allowed to collapse.
We know treasury can end the game instantly by pro ting 23 one trillion platinum coins, paying off our “frn” “debt”
But they would rather let the train ( actually prefer it ) run off the end of the track than applying the brakes because the “bridge” is out.
Remember, Russia has some of the largest unexploited gold reserves in the world.
They can’t keep the shell game moving with hard money, so they will burn the whole place down with excess FRN’s PLUS super expensive debt.
Better know your food.
Now take 576 ad ( I may wrong on exact date )
No crops for 2 years due global VOG
This could easily happen today due to fuel disruptions and monetary trade.
The farmers are going to be forced to produce like Stalin tried.
They will be fine, but the billions that depend on the “system” will starve.
Who do you know that has enough supplies to last for years and then seed reserves to restart local production?
Thanks Mel. Colin Todhunter addresses the globalist war on food-security here, addresses it well and historically, fundamentally originating with the "Kissinger Report":

A couple of picky points: 1) re: 2024 election: while it's POSSIBLE that the votes COULD be counted accurately so voters could actually elect someone they like, that hasn't happened since 2000 inclusive, thanks to electronic vote-flipping; so portraying the possibility of no election in 2024 sounds a lot more honest than what's been going on. Indeed, by not allowing an election, Those In Charge would be shooting themselves in the foot, since they NEED elections in order to pretend we have a democracy, and they need our participation in their electoral farce to lend it credibility. And, 2) Hudson saying that cutting the top rate of Federal income tax brought us regressive taxes: actually--unless inheritance taxes are still a thing--income tax is the ONLY progressive tax the U.S. has. Meanwhile there are plenty of other taxes, all of them 100% regressive, and all of them difficult for ordinary ppl to avoid, whether or not they happen to have any income at all: property tax, school tax, library tax, fuel taxes, excise taxes, sales tax on anything less luxurious than Lear jets "user's fees" for paying for certain legal parts of life, like car registration (OK, nobody HAS to own a car, but in the vast majority of the country, you can't get far w/out one), not to mention being forced to buy health "insurance" which doesn't even INSURE payment of your healthcare bills, and, if you're working, unemployment "insurance", which only covers PART of your former wages for 6 months & basically subsidizes your former employer's ability to get rid of you. Even the homeless pay sales tax if they happen to buy something.
There are import taxes, and taxes on oil and mining. Before income taxes the US did pretty well with low taxation. Much of Hudson's view hearkens back to the late 18000s and pre-WW-1 era, which was a pretty good and constructive era in a lot of industrialized societies.
I really agree with Hudson that the rentier-finance is a parasite on society, not a necessary way of managing the allocation of resources for investment and production. Roads, schools, water, electric, communiications, medical, and retirement should all be public utilities, not profit-centers beeding the productive economy.
How to make tht shift, and how to set up the new system, and especially who willbe assigned the massive losses are bug political questions.
Yes, the voting is rigged, and there are rigging wars, like with Nixon vs Kennedy in 1960.
I think the fix to install Hllary in 2016 got messed-with by somebody, but the imperial courtiers made sure they had lots of back-up in 2020, and it looks like they used it all.
The "problem" I see for the interests of the actual "owners" is that the current elites are "worse than corrupt, they are incompetent".
The country will flounder without a real chief executive, as we see every day. They have to face that they must give up some power, all of them, or keep losing value in their holdings.
I was following 2016 in real time, and the primaries were the first time Google censored me, overtly censored me for detailing the diisenfranchisement of the Sanders voters.
I was willing to vote for the "lesser evil", Bernie Sanders, but they forced a Trump-Clinton choice on Americans, had it rigged for Clinton, but not-rigged-enough, and they were both shocked that Trump won. I had voted for Jill Stein MD, met her, and gavve her "Jill Stein MD, President 2016" (back) with "I vote Green" (front) t-shirt.
I made 100 t-shirts and gave them all away. (Jill wears a small.)
I have voted since 1976 and always chose the most honest candidate, so I have not "picked-a-winner" yet.

Frisian hasn't changedd much in thousands of years, like Greek.
Frisian is an impossible language, Dutch is artificial/official cause there are more than 2000 dialects.
