Defense One says Raytheon plans to deliver two new prototypes this year and another in 2026 to address current limitations of high-powered microwave weapons used in the US military. The report notes in particular that the CHIMERA may be effective against Iran’s Shahed-136 drones.

Reading the article I see nothing of note and a fair amount of doubt. Close like cold fusion? "may be effective" all I hear is give me more money. Meanwhile back at the ranch.......

Dr. John, love your compilations/posts.

It was 34°F here in southern Ontario, and dead sunny.

I sat outside for 2 hours trying to get some natural D.

Too bright, with the snow cover, to read anything, but energized me for another day.

I never let a sunny February day go to waste.

Enervated...

It got up over 60F and the wind was still so I lay out for about 40 minutes around noon, too. It's a really good cheap-luxury.

I'm glad you get something out of these stacks of stories. I have some vision of the flow of historic change in our world and this seems to be a way to share it as it happens.

Nicaragua taking Germany, Canada, UK, Netherlands to ICJ for genocide [Why not the US?]

Maybe the contra Reagan doctrine is still fresh? Good on the rest of it.

Nicaragua has a personal case for genocide against the US, as you point out.
