Amida-as-dharmakaya would not be a valid object of devotion since that is by definition unimaginable from the point of view of an unawakened human.
The third, Nirmanakaya or 'manifestation body' is a Buddha manifesting in this world in some non-perfect form. For example, Shakyamuni (the historical Buddha) was a Buddha, but we can see that his body was not perfect - it was vulnerable to aging, sickness, and death. Therefore this was a Buddha manifested in a Nirmanakaya.
We all are manifested in the Nirmankaya and subject to wolves called men and aging, sickness, and death. Deep spiritual resources will be needed to bring us through this time of tribulation and one person can transmit a profound and uplifting teaching.

I would say that the name "bliss body" may be misguding, since the focus upon bliss is a false path. Some bliss is a side effect, as I experience it in compassion-meditation, which can, after some long years, lead into the edges of Sambhogakaya practice.
My experience of this, coming through compassion-meditation, with intention to help the physical/nirmanakaya world, through aligning my spiritual-work and actions with Divine Intention and Guidance, is that Sambhogakaya is a transitional realm of physical becoming into the near future, which can be influenced through spiritual work.
