La France c’est moi, moi je suis la France....it used to be and it almost sounds like another absolutism I’m the science and when you attack me you attack the science. This French revolt is in full support of the younger generation, the students the coming generation of entrepreneurs and they see no FUTURE with or in President Macron, the inflation, the economic deterioration, the pensions, the loss of power, presence and economic interests in Africa taken over by Russians and Chinese....difficult if not impossible for Macron to hold on to his elective power, 63 arbitrary 67% not in support of him.

The Guardian may have been targeted by the UK security services, but it is its current ownership, namely by US neoconservatives, that predicates its virulence, its globalist hatred and its contempt for human values. It has actually spawned a website, off-guardian.org, which was founded by those repeatedly censored at the Guardian's website for expressing freedom of thought. As someone who suffered similarly, I have supported OffG through reading it, contributing BTL comments etc.

No-one any longer has any expectation that the Guardian will ever return to its founder's beliefs. It is a foreign-owned propaganda vehicle and will likely remain thus short of 'nationalising the Press' i.e. kicking foreign owners out.

Addiction to growth. Infinite growth. In that sense, there is no difference between a Japan or What Nation Have We. Yes the Japanese did not go extinct. They colonized everything around the island including China (for almost 200 years)

Hi John

We have no evidence to back that claim sir "Japanese can work together for the good of society. "

When did they last time?

Also addicted is a fairer word in this context, and it's not the japanese only.

Anyone in any country will burn more energy once it's made readily available at a cheap price.

Since Japan is an ex-imperial power, that privilege was granted to the Japanese decades ago.

Hi John

"Japan has taken an independent energy policy pathway, though reservedly so..." Yes indeed, however we must not forget that it's still a totally energy addicted society, much like China, India, America, Europe and the rest of the world. One way or another, the oil and gas will flow through and through, whichever policy or new slapdash mandate, Japan may embrace, in this period of late-capitalism, where almost every developed nation is in deficit and running on borrowed energy or time - Including Russia.

I had a conversation with an acquaintance a few days ago as to whether US could become a rebellious society again. I waved my hand over the retirees in the restaurant and said they will agree to anything to keep the payments coming. They are used to doing nothing. The old guy sitting next to me at the counter just slouched down wanting to avoid even the thought.

Think solar panels on the roof as a first passover once this one world government kicks into high gear.
