… to whet one’s appetite to look at this more deeply, here is just one tiny, tiny snip:
” Trump is telling the rest of the world that they must be losers – and accept the fact graciously in payment for the military protection that it provides the world in case Russia might invade Europe or China send its army into Taiwan, Japan or other countries. The fantasy is that Russia would have anything to gain in having to support a collapsing European economy, or that China decides to compete militarily instead of economically.
Hubris is at work in this dystopian fantasy.”
As the article at one point clearly argues, ”The problem goes beyond Trump. He is simply following what already has been implicit in U.S policy since 1945.”
So much going on, and some of it no doubt by design. I will just have to file this disaster away as one of many events that I don't have the resources to explore. So many other priorities.
Almost certainly, but how? One aircraft runs into another at low altitude and relatively low speed, and they both explode in a fireball that kills all on board both craft? That's awfully unlucky...
I was going to ask you this long time ago: do you know what it means in politics referring to the competing powers as different wings of the same bird of prey?
It seems like "Punch" and "Judy" are puppets of the same puppet-master, or something similar, but a bird of prey rips flesh, so it is a more threatening analogy.
U.S. foreign policy needs setting ( and resetting ) for decades and decades on end, … but how? How is it done? Who does it? Participants. Pecking order of participants. The process, … how does it all actually fall in place?
“Neutrality Studies” asked good Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson to explain. Here it goes, … watch interviewers facial expressions as good colonel chimes his tale out. Fascinating!
Ex-State Dept. Chief REVEALS Hidden War Making Process
Right after the jet-helicopter crash last week, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC, our PBS) published a graphic which showed the paths of the two aircraft involved in the collision. The jet was making a gradual bank to the left as it lined up for its runway. The helicopter appears to have made a beeline for the jet. The helicopter made two distinct right-turns plus one more subtle course-correction to collide with the jet. I wondered at the time whether the helicopter could have been remotely controlled at a distance. That was certainly how it seemed from the flight paths. Why else would a pilot make such a move, unless feeling both suicidal and homicidal?
I read that the 2 black boxes from the jet and the combined black box from the chopper have been recovered. I await that analysis. I'll be suspicious if it is not open/transparent.
Yeeees... Although, the military is notoriously opaque about its activities, at least when it comes to the news media and civilians in general. It does have a point. Both allies and enemies are watching.
That said, I would like a plausible explanation for the bizarre flight path of the helicopter in its final minutes. Pilot error seems very unlikely to me.
INRE the helicopter pilot lately out of Biden White House, there was an incident during Clinton administration where an AF heavy transport plane full of cars and other gear, was held on the ground, though a full crew was available, until a replacement crew was flown up from TX. One of the replacements had personal knowledge of events that Clinton would find embarrassing. The crew was unfamiliar with the airport surrounded by mountains. There was speculation by some people with connections, that the altimeter was defective, the plane flew into a mountainside. An identical speculation was made in regards the plane that Ron Brown died on, which also flew into a mountainside.

… fwiw,

Indeed, I excerpted that here recently.

Hey John.
Can't read as fast as you can write, but found this because Meryl Nass sent me here.
That Potomac catastrophe does look suspicious, especially after reading your sleuthing here.
Yoku dekimashita!

Hi again John.
To be fair, I just watched another podcast by a commercial jet pilot, which also reasonably points to another explanation.

Cheers buddy!
Thanks Steve.
That is the standard explanation he presents, and it is quite plausible, but if the chopper had no black box, then I won't believe it.
If there is a black box, and the data is made public, then I am happy to accept it.
I am just entertaining possibilities now.
The other thing I've been wondering about is the explosion. How does a helicopter colliding with a jet on its descent to land create such a fireball?
Fuel tanks ruptured?

John,
I was going to ask you this long time ago: do you know what it means in politics referring to the competing powers as different wings of the same bird of prey?

You are the prey, I should presume, as am I.
Just perhaps of interest?

Larry Wilkerson is good, but I have 5 minutes, not an hour.
Life is that way...

Black box should show external manipulation, and they would have talked about it in the cockpit, I think.
Yes, let's hope. Although I'll be astonished if we are told everything that happened and was said in that cockpit. It's just not the military's way.

Apparently this Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach’s full name was, Lobach-Stein. Maybe they forgot?
