Harvesting energy from evaporation should not be stymied because we don’t have enough minds focused on it.

The Columbia work looks at using expandable spores like “muscles” in an evaporate process to capture/store/release energy. I suspect there are other materials with the capacity for molecular reconfiguration to store potential energy and release it. If we were not so burdened by corruption and greed, we might make use of the miracles in plain sight. Our task is to make true service the touchstone for esteem vs the consumption culture. Well, we do have a "modicum" of agency, but it is hard to fully understand the limits until we try to exceed them.
