I can rarely digest the numerous resources you cobble together for your readers, Doctor, but I am grateful for your diligent efforts. I was very intrigued by your opening take on monetary policy and AI. I was unaware you were so well-versed in fiat currencies, and I ponder many of these same issues. Where will the real economy land? If it implodes, will that be the MSM propaganda push to blame DT and call for a tyrant to rescue the proles? Will the evildoers hasten their genocidal plans to avert accountability and a well-deserved visit to the populist guillotine? Time will tell, while I leap faithfully! Ciao!

Thanks John. I have always wanted to understand how things work. It is one of my defining characteristics. I can pat myself on the back and call it the search for truth... It's just how I was born.

I think the real economy is mostly a self-organizing system, so doing as little damage as possible should be the goal. If Musk's AI can sort out all the derivatives and make something approaching a "fair" distribution of assets and losses, it would be far less damaging than nuclear war. It has never been an option before. I am a bit guardedly hopeful. The European elites seem to have put their bets on a big war, though. Maybe they can be reasoned with a bit...

MSM will write whatever pays the bills at this point, no?

“There is no avoidance in delay.” - Aeschylus, Agamemnon

I carefully listen to remarks made by U.S. Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth at Ukraine Defense Contact, as well to those at NATO Headquarters the next day, … and I can’t shake the feelings from my head that all that talk was simply a confirmation that U.S./NATO is currently not ready to challenge Russia at this stage militarily, … and a delay is a must!

Hegseth’s closing statement at Defense Contact was:

“President Trump looks forward to working together, to continuing this frank discussion amongst friends, and to achieve peace through strength – together.”

https://www.defense.gov/News/Speeches/Speech/Article/4064113/opening-remarks-by-secretary-of-defense-pete-hegseth-at-ukraine-defense-contact/

… there is no printout from NATO speech yet, … but a message there was much more, unequivocally, strong!

“Russia’s war against the West will continue until Putin tastes defeat” - Atlantic Council

Well, it is hard NOT to overestimate the significance of the recent contact between Putin and Trump! Hypersonic speed of piling up of events!

Déjà vu! Many, many moons ago, Putin was once on a charm tour of the U.S. True, …

Recall Crawford, Texas: a tiny town in the centre of the state. Very small population. George W. Bush its resident. Li’l “w” and first lady Laura Bush had invited the Russian president and his wife Lyudmila to spend the night there.

… and here we are again, two presidents who yearn to be together.

Like I said, … we shall see.

… btw, latest, “them's fighting words”: JD Vance in Paris:

“Vice President JD Vance said Thursday that the U.S. would hit Moscow with sanctions and potentially military action if Russian President Vladimir Putin won’t agree to a peace deal with Ukraine that guarantees Kyiv’s long-term independence.”

The attack on Iran will trigger this GreatSatan slave of israel, our Empire will collapse.

In Totality throughout the West it can be argued that a genocide of white European Christian peoples, culture, Christian virtue-based values, liberties, God-Based morality, and more for centuries and most clearly in last 70 years, since early 1960's - along with the Modernist takeover of the Vatican and the deconstruction and destruction of the Public Church and defining a false version, from the top down, attack on family with Birth-Control, Divorce, Pornography, Insanities normalizes like Abortion which harms mothers, women, families, the ability to Judge right-wrong, .., women in workforce, wage suppression, 'reverse-racism' in hiring and employment, jobs overseas, replacement with mass immigration of peoples from cultures that Hate Western Christian based cultures, or willing to replace with their cultures anti-liberty and Political-economic caste systems, and more...

Early-on in the last Century the true history shows an ever increasing genocidal influence, Holodomor, Armenian Genocide, WWI, WWII, even our CivilWar could be show as needless for the goals made public and history states, when genocidal war was the purpose as well as enslavement of all states and their people under one controlling force, that now Zionists control, as well as much states' politics, and even local. Military and Police trained throughout the Nation, a Nation that is a soulless Golem that enslaved us all and threaten all world, hated by many because of reasonless wars and sanctions for sufferings, populations struggling against the control of the few Zionists or their enslaved tools, .. and now the active support of israel genocide of Gaza, not only active support but it would not happen without our support.

That support of israel and Ukraine's genocides has poured endless borrowed money into hands of Zionists and used to bribe and threaten those offshore key families of power, but also those very Federal Gov. law-makers, executives, courts, and département heads, and key positions, as well as ownership of all major corporations, .. and law-makers that have been limitless in increasing National Debt, with privately owned Federal Reserve providing them every moment in greater and greater Usury interest, to the Trillions a year, to what purchases?

Now with a very weak military - not only in actual weapons but in morale but in competence and poor soldiers thinned out by DEI, Perversion, poor health and fitness, and discharging those with the Will to say no to the Poison-injections. And now with the world disgusted by our GreatSatan directed endless wars, war-crimes, support of Genocide, endless Sanctions, ignoring our own laws as well as international, .. what would be the Event that will start the Fall of the USA?

Could an Attack on Iran and their reprisal damaging world-wide oil access and the damage to our Petradollar, Dollar backed by oil and military, the reason and support of BRICS as an excisemen of our Sick system as the evil death and Cancer that Zionists have made us? Would there be a 'Call' on our National Debt and so a liquidation of all public lands and other resources with pennies on the dollar, and will all banks call in loans for mortgages and then take those homes and other properties .. with military assistance?

Could Iran's response be the domino the Zionist use to Finish the Centuries' long path of Genocide of European white Christian value-based societies?

God Bless., Steve

You encapsulate the last 40+ years of careful degradation of western & US society as if it continues apace. The battle, however, seems to be joined against the shadowy forces of degradation, which I see as both spiritual and mechanical.

If global finance can be denied a big war, and actually come under attack by national powers, such as the US, China and Iran, that would benefit all constructive forces in the world, though that would only be another beginning, not an end, because of population growth, resource depletion and forms of environmental pollution.

Well, here is how to Fix the world...

If I had enough power to launch nukes .. if we lived through the first 6 months we would live the rest of our lives in peace and ever increasing Plenty, increasing quality of life, spiritual Meaning, etc.

.. because I would rather WWIII with 3+ billions dead world-wide to put a stop to this kind of slide in Satanic hell.

I'd start by ordering the 5-eyes to track down the most powerful international 15 ruling families, complete with ICBM targeting info for homes, work, locations they can be nuked, and I would publicize the top most powerful and command us all to do what they say, everything public streams and debated, and give them 6 months to improve all our lives, the most for the least of us.

Every 6 months check everyone and as long as all the people of the world continues to improve significantly, they can live.

If 2 of those 6-months periods in a row of poor improvements, then all older adults in that family die in public - with the rest of family stripped of wealth and power.

Then the next most powerful family rules.

They want to control the world - I would F-ing make'm, and with poor results they all hang, all in public and on world-wide-web stream.

Does that sound like it would work?

God Bless., Steve

Yes, I am being hyperbolic. The nuke threat could be a bluff and sounding like I as soon die with everyone else helps believability in the bluff, and instead to killing they could spend time living in an isolated village where most people would have to work a bit everyday, bring in firewood, make candles, raise and butcher dinner, .. the kind of place were everyone need everyone else. The kind of place I would like to vacation if I were younger.

I just spent a number of hours on ChatGPT. It does a good job reorganizing and summarizing what ideas and writings I create. I was doing some Theological Apologetics, Jacob's Ladder, Free-Will, etc.

After a brief history of how money was invented, Miller considers “the axiomatic” nature of the concept:

Money has no life of its own except as money. To the man in the street, unaccustomed to thinking of money in abstract terms, this obvious truism may smack of casuistry. Yet nothing could be more simple and consistent than this reduction to tautology, since money in any period whatever of man’s history has, like life itself, never been found to represent the absence of money. Money is, and whatever form or shape it may assume it is never more nor less than money. To inquire therefore how it comes about that money has become what it now is is as idle as to inquire what makes evolution.

[…]

Money, then, whatever its real nature, reveals itself to us through form. Just as hydrogen and oxygen reveal their presence to us in varying forms and yet are not themselves, either separately or combined, such as water or peroxide, so money, whether in specie or counterfeit, is always something inclusive, coexistent, consubstantial and beyond the thing manifest. In a profound sense money may be said to resemble God Almighty. https://www.themarginalian.org/2014/08/04/henry-miller-on-money/

Dang Dr. John. You're smart.

I think AI is a bit overrated but I'm no expert. I also think the real messages here are that we can no longer afford grand international largesse at the expense of a citizenry that is going through an economic and cultural decline. The big question for most people is whether financial elites - really both "parties" - are willing to seriously invest in the American people and the domestic economy. Such investments are probably limited by declining energy and resources and a lack of industry. Trump and his oligarchs have inherited a very difficult situation.

I'm not optimistic about a peace in ukraine during the next several months. Russia is in a secure position in ukraine and at home. Russia wants to make more gains, I think, and then talk seriously. Maybe there is something I don't know.

Hope your gardens are fine. Some real cold weather is coming next week. Mid to low teens forecast here in north Texas.

Another song that's been stuck in my head, lately. Yeah, I'm an old "boomer".

Thanks for the compliment St. Jimmy.

I was pretty busy in 1988 and that song only sounds vaguely familiar, but the video looked like Australia.

I think the Ukraine war can be stopped, on Russia's terms, but the main thing is that the cold-war format of NATO has to go away.

Europe doesn't need to rebuild Ukraine. Russia does. The map will change again.

Maybe Trump, Putin and Xi can have a summit to avoid Armageddon.

Musk's software can do the job, and they don't have to let it into their own systems, because the job is to fix western finance. They might be able to use some form of it themselves.

Musk might like taking that kind of role in history. He seems to like challenging projects.

Yeah. His software can do the job. I guess I'm jealous of him. We never had that kind of reach and ability when looking at various programs. We could describe and recommend but we had no power beyond where we were pointed by committees. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

I think the video is Australia but it could be Kansas or parts of north Texas. I spent 6 weeks in Queensland in 1983 and I've never been to a place as similar in look, feel, and culture to Texas. I could have stayed but I was fresh out of UT and had a job with Uncle Sugar in Dallas and many Queenslanders thought I resembled a New South Wales surfer boy. I guess they couldn't detect the faint odor of south Texas still clinging to me.... a few of their daughters..... I could have stayed.

As far as the eventual economic collapse is concerned, I think the most important question is how hard and how fast will it be for most Americans. Can the impact be softened and, if so, how? I'm not sure how much that matters to me at 67. I have a pension not invested in the market - last of the CSRS system - and my family and son are invested in things they can't or won't change - land, bank stock, trust fund. Not much I can do. Cheers.

I was at UT from 1976-1982, working my way through, then off to med school We might have met, and are bound to have passed on the way to classes. I was a co-opper, the cheapest way to live.

Australia has some weird lavendar-purple colors that are unique and a little unnerving at first.

Everything, including Social Security can crash. I am having a pretty low-burn-rate lifestyle, for an American, these days, and staying out of debt.

Staying out of debt is VERY important. I'm debt free and I consider myself very lucky. I was at Texas Lutheran from '76 through 1980. I was at the LBJ School at UT from '81 through '83. I doubt we met. My friends were LBJ School types and undergraduate rock and roll party types. Yeah, I know. I probably underachieved and wasted part of my youth.

I've guessed that you have a "low burn rate" lifestyle and that's great. Your life looks pretty good to me and, should you live that long, you have useful skills for the future. I'm also convinced that the future is simple, practical, and, to an extent, back to the land.
