Missed that... Great song....

wouldn't be singing it in the 1920's for sure... and neither in the 2020's...

"If the power of evolution was looking for handy action over a distance,"

Unbelievable...with stupid comments such as this it is obvious 'evolution' is still a faith based fantasy.

Animals 'deciding' to change, and now we see there is a magical 'power', 'looking for"

Bwahahahhahahahha, "handy action". Sounds like a porn film

Speaking figuratively, I presume, and this interjection not necessary to grasp the concept, whatever worldview one might employ:

"If the power of evolution was looking for handy action over a distance"

Thank you John.

The banana trees are looking good. Do you get fruit from them before the first freeze? If so, what variety (dwarf of some sort, I assume)?

I get green bananas, but we have had (in climate zone-9) one climate-zone 6-7 freeze every winter in the Biden-admin, so they get composted back into the patch. The Dwarf Namwah (Thai) bananas do best. The Dwarf Orinoco (Venezuelan) do second best. The Blue Java and Apple Bananas have not gotten big enough to make bananas.

Thank you again for your work, Kyle.

Where do you get your banana plants?

I ordered the better banana "pups" from a guy on Etsy, who is east of Houston, but I can't find any email-trace of that now.

I should be able to hack you something off and ship it, but it would be a hassle.

Although I'm close to the border, I'm also close to 4,000'. It's the wrong time of year. I would need to get them in early spring.

I'm less interested in the fruit and more interested in using the leaves as wraps in various culinary uses.

I remember the song as a kid. Also the first/second CSN/CSNY albums which were fantastic but may have been Laurel Canyon creations. I also remember a July 68 morning we were leaving early (4:00 am) for El Paso for a conference my dad was attending (10 hour drive)...he woke me (I was 8) and just said “They killed another Kennedy last night”...always stuck with me but never asked him: What did he mean by ‘they’?

"They" did something seems to be how that was said then.
