louvin bros were before my time but i did get to see charlie in what was probably his last nyc appearance, 2006 - by that time he was more cornpone comedian than singer but it was still a bucket list show

I think it could have been an influence behind some of
Bob Dylan's earlier songs. Dylan was a big fan of Americana
songs. He's made mention of the Atomic Bomb drill practiced
while at school - 'Diving Under The Desk' for protection.
(These days they probable practice their Nuclear Bomb drills
by donning face masks ?)
