More and more people are starting to grow their own food, looking for alternative resources, lifestyles and making them work. Nothing of this magnitude will happen overnight. We have yet to see the complete result of the vax in terms of deaths. If the Satanic morons weren't destroying our planet at such an impetuous rate we might have a chance at revival. Talk about self-fulfilling prophesy. I see their hubris as flat out stupidity and suicidal.

The smart ones just kill other people.

The stupid ones accidentally drink the Kool-Aid.

Although you might have that backwards!

'Stevia is worse than table sugar.' Hard to believe. Is there a link to data that supports this claim ? Thanks...

It'sthemechanism ofsweetnessin the mouth inducing a pre-emptivesugar-responseby insulin release.Rats (yoghurt sweetenedwith sugar or Sweet-n-low) and humans fed artificial sweeteners gain more weight than those who get the same things with table sugar. This is an old study I have been citing for something like 20 years, and it was done on rats, because it had been noticed in human studies for 20 years before that.

Whatever patients drank diet sodas in various drug studies always gained the most weight during the studies.

Sugar is bad and addictive, high fructose corn syrup is similar, but worse. All the artificial sweeteners are different but worse. Aspartame "Nutra-sweet" is also neurotoxic

Honey turns out to be a little lessbad than table sugar, as recently detailed by AMidwestern Doctor. I take a little honey in my morning coffee (Our family has used honey in coffee and tea since WW-2 rationing, so I was raised that way.)

What about Xylitol? The birch bark derived kind, not the stuff made from corn.

From what I've read it's good for gut health and prevents cavities.

I brush my teeth with xylitol toothpaste, but wouldn't use it in food. It is hard on the bacteria that cause cavities, but I don't have any data on it in weight gain.

One should presume that it would cause the same anticipatory insulin-release response to eating/drinking sweets.

Interesting. Eric S at 'My Weightloss Journey' on Facebook, lost 200 pounds following a Ketogenic diet, intermittent fasting and cheesecakes using the artificial sweetener called 'Swerve' (Erythritol, a sugar alcohol). < https://facebook.com/ericsweightloss/ >. How is this possible if what you claim is accurate ? Also, Stevia (and Erythritol) are not ingredients in Sweet-n-Low or Nutri-sweet. I think this 20 year old study might benefit from more contemporary info. (And don't forget Monkfruit extract !)

A ketogenic diet is a ketogenic diet, and forces the body to inefficiently convert fat and muscle calories to ketones to provide for the brain and red-blood-cells.

Intermittent fasting paired with a Keto diet has helped many people. And so has Stevia, Erythritol and Monk Fruit Extract.

One can blend the time-restricted-eating and ketogenic themes. They are both working by driing the body into ketone metabolism, then avoiding the intake of enough carbohydrate to build up carbohydrate-stores (glycogen). You keep the body on a ery short carbohydtrate leash, and keep going in and out of ketone metabolism, then taking a little carbohydrate (in fresh vegetables, not white starch) together with proteins and healthy oils. You have to keep rebuilding the protein you break down in the periods of ketosis, and this takes a little natural carbohydrate along with the protein (like eggs) so that the protein can be put back into muscles.

Eggs are part of the Keto diet. Good fats. Low carbs. Beef, Chicken fish. You know about this. No need to list all approved Keto foods. Recently, Dr. Mercola opined about adding more good carbs into the Keto protocols. When I was getting in top shape for my Cataract surgeries, I was full on Keto with intermittent fasting. Eating within an 8 hour window. 16 hours not eating. Water or tea, at all hours, was good. Anyway... as a type 2 diabetic, Got my A1c down to 6.4 and slimmed down. All good for the laser surgeries, which turned out Great ! From 2000 to 2004 I was a Raw Vegan. I really loved that diet, but it had an adverse effect on my teeth. Too bad. I was on the tropical Island of Vieques, Puerto Rico for Hurricane 'Maria' in 2017. No water for 3 weeks. No power for 4 months. Gas powered generators helped. Very little to eat, so everybody got real thin ! When 'Maria' hit Vieques, it was 175 mph with up to 260 mph wind gusts. A beyond category 6 storm. Massive destruction. No green leaves on trees. Palm fronds still attached. 2 weeks later, the green came back ! 'Maria' basically flattened all the Coconut palms in PR. Takes 7 years for new coco palms to fully mature. I used to get fresh coco water all the time. Good stuff. Is it Keto ? Who knows ?
