Not Buying It,
People suffering in isolation is FEMAs reason for existence and funding. "Preferred vendors" profit long term. This is a fiercely-protected monopoly. A Midwestern Doctor, Hurricane Helene has a Critical Lesson for All of Us Exploring the dangers of putting profits before people, especially when they are hidden behind a veil of secrecy
..Elon Musk: Just received this note from a SpaceX engineer helping on the ground in North Carolina.
“The big issue is FEMA is actively blocking shipments and seizing goods and services locally and locking them away to state they are their own. It’s very real and scary how much they have taken control to stop people helping. We are blocked now on the shipments of new starlinks coming in until we get an escort from the fire dept. but that may not be enough.”
AMD: One of the most insightful reports I saw on this subject came from a guy who regularly finds ways to deliver relief supplies to disaster zones (including this one) stated that in 2017 after Hurricane Irma, independent aid was prohibited from by FEMA getting to the Florida Keys. When he finally bypassed the blockade (by going 87 miles at night by boat), he learned that the residents had been told by FEMA to stay inside and that there was limited aid (e.g., FEMA wouldn’t even give them water) because no one besides FEMA wanted to help them (leading them being abandoned) and since they’d lost communication with the outside world so they had to take FEMA’s word on this. Following this, he was able to mobilize the local populace to put pressure on FEMA to allow him to be involved in getting relief supplies. After mobilizing it, he had a remarkable experience which cuts to the heart of the issue:
"I was able to coordinate several trucks full of supplies to be brought down to the EOC in Marathon. I was privy to the EOC meeting, BUT was informed in that meeting, that all of the semi trucks full of food, water and hygiene supplies were to be turned around and not allowed to be offloaded for distribution by the EOC."
"THE REASON they gave us, was that these donations were not from companies on their "preferred vendors list" and that they would not accept them or give them to the residents of the keys impacted by the storm. It was at that point that I realized, this is ALL ABOUT MONEY. These 'preferred vendors" are getting part of the money being released by the state and federal govt for each disaster. In turn, some of the "vendors" make it on the list because a friend gets them on the list, and in return for getting ridiculously outlandish amounts of compensation for the services they render, they give kickbacks."
"So accepting outside donations, even though they are on location and can help people NOW, they would rather let people suffer so they can get their kickbacks."

Celia Farber, Catherine Austin Fitts On Helene: "It's Not A Natural Event." Says It Is A Giant Taking, Land Grab, WH Leveraging Disaster Recovery Against Election: "Assertion Of Top Down Control Of Counties" "The goal of this operation and [Hurricane Helene] is an operation, it's not a natural event...[it] got steered in my opinion," Fitts says. "The goal of this operation is to take assets and...it's basically a giant taking...to grab land."
The investment banker says:
"We're having lots of reports of land grab tactics being applied" and adds that the operation "relates to the [U.S. presidential] election."
"I suspect we're seeing the White House basically—and, again, this is conjecture—negotiate terms. You know, you'll get disaster recovery if, you know, you do this, this, and this for the election," Fitts says.
"The president is saying he's gonna call back Congress, that there's not enough money at FEMA to go through the hurricane season, and so they're strong-arming Congress to come back and basically give the administration what they want on the continuing appropriations process."
Furthermore, Fitts says this is also an instance of central bankers attempting to wrangle more control for themselves. "This is all part of installing the digital ID and financial transaction infrastructure you need to assert absolute control," Fitts says. "And if you look at the patterns, whether it's the taking or the land grab or other other reports we're getting out of that area, it looks to me like a lot of assertion of top-down control of counties."
Dane Wigington, in 90 second time lapse video with artificial color for ground-based radio-frequency transmissions, proportional to output-power, shows that these steering transmissions were everywhere that the Hurricane Helene was not, leaving an open channel of travel. It had been heavily seeded with charged nanoparticles while it was forming, which makes it more subject to radio-frequency steering. Simplicius, Clarity After Iran Strike, as Israel Tries to Pivot to Nuclear Arc Two days out from Iran’s seminal strike on Israel and some things are being clarified. All the early claims of having shot everything down were slowly retracted, with more realistic headlines.... ..We’ve finally got some BDAs of the hits, though they do present uncertainty as to Iran’s true objectives. Here’s a news report confirming one of the missiles landed outside the Mossad HQ. But was it a miss, or a deliberate “message” sent?
There are two camps now: one claiming Iran cannot hit anything, the other that Iran deliberately avoided causing too much damage. There is some evidence for both.
Trump just released an interview where he confirmed—if he can be trusted—that Iran had previously told him in advance they would hit US assets during his term, but intentionally not cause any damage merely as a show of force... ..Trump himself admits the missiles are “very accurate” but everyone in the media was shocked they missed—why would Iran’s “accurate missiles” miss an easy, fat target like the US base in question?
This gives us insight into Iran’s SOP, and we can thereby infer that Iran may have treated the present Israeli strike in a similar fashion. A hit near the Mossad HQ could merely be a message.
Now we have satellite BDAs (Bomb Damage Assessments) of Nevatim base...
..The area of the base hit was the “transport, tanker, surveillance, and recon” area, reportedly housing the 122nd Nachshon Squadron (EW/signals), not the fighter jet area where the famed F-35s are usually housed... ..What’s most interesting is there was a brief controversy yesterday surrounding some jagged digital clouds apparently being ‘painted’ over Israeli bases, blocking the ability to assess damage... though strangely this rarely seems to happen in Ukraine—but most strange of all was that both penetrated bases apparently had this cloudy ‘luck’... As reminder, the US apparently restricts satellite images of Israel, as previously confirmed by NPR... ..Personally, I have a theory as to why there appear some accurate hits with others that seem merely ‘random’. From the characteristics of the missiles we saw, there appeared to be many different kinds of missiles fired. For instance, some clearly came down extremely fast, at near hypersonic speeds ...while many others appear to come down at fairly middling speeds.
It’s likely that what Iran is doing, is saturating the airspace with a bunch of their lower tier older missiles, ones which do not have much accuracy and are cheap in cost, while there are a lesser number of the more advanced hypersonic ones with better guidance capabilities which are used to ride that saturation “cloud” to the target. Thus, the type of BDA result visible would be a bunch of random hits in a wide dispersion field with a few accurate ones amongst them, courtesy of the main weapon—which could be the Emad or Fattah-2, etc... ..Iran warned the US after it had launched the missiles... We know for a fact that US and Israel had already expected the strikes as articles literally came out several hours prior, stating that Iran may be gearing up for strikes... Israel and the US would have about 10-15 minutes to make necessary last minute movements, like scrambling F-35s to the sky, etc., as that’s how long the missiles would take to reach Israel. In short, we can confidently say that Israel had at least a decent amount of advance warning. This is a way for Iran to diplomatically save face by being able to say they did not really give anyone warning, since it technically came after the launch, but it was given in practice... ..Israel has claimed it would initiate a major counter-response before suddenly walking back its threats out of fear... ..Last night, Iranian assets were allegedly struck in Jableh outside Khmeimim—it’s uncertain if that’s meant to be the ‘response’, or one of them. Fake news reports claimed Israel had struck Russia’s Khmeimim base itself, but geolocations showed that to not be the case.
However, other sources continue to imply that behind the scenes Israel and the US are conspiring for something bigger... ..Everyone knows there are competing factions within the US government, which is why the State Department had witnessed a surge of resignations this year over the Biden team’s support of Israel. However, Brian Berletic outlined the other likely explanation for these seemingly incoherent discrepancies. On one hand, Biden reiterated he would not support Israeli strikes, which need to be “proportional”, he says... But on the other, Berletic quotes the 2009 Brookings paper entitled "Which Path to Persia?", which outlines a strategy of “maintaining plausible deniability while, in fact, attacking Iran including its nuclear sites.”... ..What’s obvious is that Israel is pushing all its neocon puppets to make the most out of its ongoing disastrous maelstrom of unprovoked attacks on neighboring countries. Israel will settle for any kind of ‘victory’, which can be defined as whatever buys it civilizational time against its enemies. Taking out Iran’s nuclear program would be ‘worth’ the price of slaughter and their likely soon-to-fail Lebanese campaign.
Well, we can certainly see why Israel would be paranoid—after the latest strikes it’s clear that the combined West’s air defenses stand no chance against a ballistic missile saturation attack of the Iranian variety... ..As for that new Lebanese campaign, ISW and other sources claim the IDF has made marginal advances into southern Lebanon in a pincer-like motion from Upper Galilee and the northeastern Galilee Panhandle region...
..It’s not looking good so far, with photos claiming to show knocked out Merkavas and Hezbollah’s claims that dozens of IDF have already been eliminated with hardly any territory captured. At this pace, Israel will understandably need to ‘divert’ again to a big US-led strike campaign against Iran to paste over and memory-hole what may turn out to be another huge failure in Lebanon.
Israel breaks deals, with or without "plausibly deniable" US connivance, or even instigation? Iran launched a significant retaliatory attack against Israel late Tuesday night, ending months of speculation about how or whether the country would strike back after its provocative killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
The United States reportedly provided Iran with assurances after the attack against Haniyeh in July that Israel and the US would move constructively towards the establishment of a Palestinian state, ending Israel’s military aggression against its neighbors and Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where over 42,000 have died according to figures reported by the territory’s health ministry. Tel Aviv’s deadly attack against Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah [after Netanyahu, Nasrallah, the US and France agreed to a 21 day ceasefire] in Lebanon last week dashed hopes of a cessation of violence as Israel claims it is preparing for a broader invasion of Lebanon... .."Israel is imposing a news blackout,” former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said. “They don't want the knowledge out there about what happened. But Iran made sure that it was not going to hit and run the risk of killing hundreds or thousands of Israeli civilians.”
“They were not going to act like the Israelis,” the analyst claimed. “They really consider themselves, if you will, more humane, more honorable, and by virtue of their action, I think they can make that case.” Johnson claimed Iran was forced to strike Israel after false assurances from the United States that Israel would cease attacks on its neighbors after its killing of Haniyeh... ..Iran was reportedly able to successfully strike Israeli military targets Tuesday, including an Israeli air base where multiple US-provided F-35 aircraft were hit. Johnson claimed Israel’s attack against Nasrallah would’ve been launched from an F-35; the fighter jet would be key to any Israeli invasion of Lebanon.
The commentator compared Israel’s Iron Dome to the US Patriot missile system, claiming the US is unable to replenish the defense system rapidly enough to allow Israel to fight a long war of attrition. “Lockheed Martin… can make about one and a half, one and a quarter [missiles] a day,” said Johnson. “I think Israel's in a similar situation... ..“I cannot rule out that Israel is going to try to launch some conventional weapons at Iran, but I think they're going to be defeated,” Johnson claimed. “Israel may be tempted to try to use a nuclear device against an Iranian target,” he warned. “If that happens then we're going to really be into another dimension, and this is going to get very, very serious. It's already a serious situation, but it will get absolutely dangerous.”
The analyst suggested Israel would not be able to support military engagement against multiple enemies, even with the United States backing it up.
“Israel is not in a position to fight a multi-front war and it does not have the strategic depth to fight wars of attrition. And that's exactly what it's got itself into now,” Johnson pointed out. https://sputnikglobe.com/20241002/iron-dome-proved-to-be-a-bust-iran-strikes-israel-in-retaliation-for-assassinations-1120377938.html
Pepe Escobar, They lie. They cheat. They steal. They bomb. And they spin The IRGC made it known that the volley of missiles was inaugurated by a single hypersonic Fatteh 2 which took out the Arrow 3 air defense system’s radar – capable of intercepting missiles in the atmosphere.
And well-informed Iranian military sources stated that hackers went on heavy cyberattack mode to disrupt the Iron Dome system just before the start of the operation.
The IRGC finally confirmed that just about 90% of the intended targets were hit; the implication was that each target was supposed to be visited by several missiles, with some getting intercepted.
It’s open to wide speculation how many F-35s and F-15s were ultimately destroyed or damaged on two air bases, one of which, Nevatim, in the Negev, becoming literally inoperable.
The Iran-Russia military entente – part of their soon to be signed comprehensive strategic partnership – was in effect. The IRGC used the recently supplied Russian electromagnetic jammer to blind Israel-NATO GPS systems – including those of U.S. aircraft. That explains the Iron Dome far off hitting the empty night skies. https://strategic-culture.su/news/2024/10/04/they-lie-they-cheat-they-steal-they-bomb-and-they-spin/
Gilbert Doctorow argues that "the dog may be wagging the tail", but I'll point out that "The Empire" is transnational financial and power elite families, united through BlackRock. The Israeli rampage in the Middle East is in fact a new U.S. proxy war to avenge its humiliations there in the last two decades The generally accepted view on the U.S.-Israeli relationship in this war was repeated earlier today by Colonel Douglas Macgregor, a widely watched military expert. He said that it appears the U.S. is now flying blind in the region, or to put it another way is on auto-pilot, following two steps behind Israel.
However, by his own acknowledgment, the successful Israeli bombing of the Hezbollah headquarters and decapitation of its leadership in downtown Beirut was made possible only by direct United States support. The 86 two-ton bombs dropped on the residential buildings to tear deep underground and do the job were American supplied. The intelligence on the whereabouts of the intended victims was provided by the United States, which also brought its AWACS into play off the coast of Lebanon long enough to provide actionable information to the Israelis for their strike.
Let us put it another way: the United States provided Israel with what it needed to do what the United States wanted done. After the confirmed killing of the 30 years plus leader of Hamas, US. officials said the dead man had the blood of American servicemen on his hands and it was good that he had been eliminated.
Then let us consider what Western media are reporting about the limits that Washington is putting on Israel’s coming retaliatory strike at Iran for the ballistic missiles that Iran fired at military targets in Israel a day ago. We are told that Joe Biden has warned Netanyahu against hitting any nuclear sites in Iran. That radical solution to the Iranian nuclear weapons program would surely bring the Russians directly into the conflict given that they are about to sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement later this month with a defense component that effectively makes the countries allies. Since the Americans are duty bound to defend Israel, they would then be fighting Russia, the nuclear superpower, something that the Biden administration is loathe to do. The Israelis are also being instructed not to hit oil and gas installations in Iran since that would drive up global energy prices and do great harm to the chances of the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
Does this not sound like Washington’s prohibition on Kiev’s use of ATACMS, Storm Shadow and other long range Western supplied missiles against the heartland of Russia? In both cases, the beneficiary of U.S. military support is being deprived of the possibility of doing great harm to its enemy in a war for survival. The explanation for this similarity is ready to hand: the Israeli rampage in the Middle East is being directed from Washington in the same way as Kiev’s invasion of Kursk and other military operations against Russia are directed from Washington.
Washington is now ready to see Netanyahu fight to the last Israeli to tame the neighborhood for the sake of its Big Brother across the Atlantic. The destruction of the neighborhood by ‘our boy’ in Jerusalem is surely seen by the Neocons who still control the levers of power in Washington as suitable retribution for the humiliations the United States experienced in each of the wars it has ignited or joined in the Middle East over the past two decades. Clipping the wings of Iran has been not only an obsession of Netanyahu; it has been an obsession of successive U.S. administrations since that of Jimmy Carter. Let us remember that the USA is a vengeful and cruel superpower.
I say the Jewish State is being asked to fight to the last Israeli in the knowledge that Israel is being destroyed economically and politically while committing genocide in the neighborhood. The Israeli economy is taking enormous losses from this war which has barely begun, not from destruction of infrastructure by the enemy, as in the case of Ukraine, but by loss of access to shipments of essential raw materials inputs for production, in loss of manpower to operate production since the Israeli army is a nation at arms. https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2024/10/03/the-israeli-rampage-in-the-middle-east-is-in-fact-a-new-u-s-proxy-war-to-avenge-its-humiliations-there-in-the-last-two-decades/
As you know, but there's a "plausible deniability" twist from the US: Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib has stated that Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah issued his agreement to a US and French-proposed 21-day ceasefire with Israel just before Israel killed him by targeting a secretive meeting in south Beirut last Friday.
Habib revealed the agreement in a PBS interview. He told PBS/CNN host Christiane Amanpour that "They told us that Mr. Netanyahu agreed on this, and so we also got the agreement of Hezbollah on that. And, you know what happened since then."
An incredulous-looking Amanpour asked: "are you saying that Hassan Nasrallah had agreed to a ceasefire just moments before he was assassinated?"
"He agreed, he agreed--yes, yes. We agreed completely."
The top Lebanese diplomat then followed with: "The Lebanese House Speaker, Mr Nabih Berri, consulted with Hezbollah and we informed the Americans and the French about the agreement. They told us that [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu also agreed to the statement issued by both presidents."
This is all in reference to a Sept.25th joint statement by the US, France, the European Union, Saudi Arabia and other nations urging an immediate 21-day ceasefire during which a more permanent diplomatic solution would be worked out. CNN writes of the interview: White House senior adviser Amos Hochstein was then set to go to Lebanon to negotiate the ceasefire... ..If the Lebanese government account is true, this would have huge implications. However, no specific further evidence that Nasrallah agreed to ceasefire has yet emerged. Reuters' top foreign correspondent, Idrees Ali, has called the revelation "Pretty stunning."
Further reporting from CNN could point to the accuracy of FM Habib's statements:
A Western source familiar with the negotiations also said Hezbollah had agreed to the temporary truce shortly before the US released the proposal last week. The source didn’t say whether the decision had come directly from Nasrallah, but said that for the movement to agree, they would have needed his approval. A second source familiar with the talks agreed that the US was aware that Hezbollah was agreeing to the ceasefire.
But on an official level, the White House is denying all of this. State Department spokesman Matthew Miller didn't rule it out entirely, but said that the Hezbollah chief agreeing to a deal is "not something we have heard before. If true, [it] was never communicated to us."... ..Critics of Israel have accused PM Netanyahu of deliberately sabotaging efforts at peace in his drive to decimate Hamas, Hezbollah, and ultimately to weaken archnemesis Iran - all while prolonging his power and rule at home. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/lebanon-says-nasrallah-agreed-temporary-ceasefire-just-assassination
Ayatollah Khamenei Clutches Rifle, Threatens To Hit Israel's Energy Sites If It Retaliates Iran on Friday issued its own counterthreats in the wake of several reports saying Israel is readying a major response to the Oct.1st Iranian ballistic missile attack. The Biden administration is said to be in consultations with Israel's security cabinet on the potential of taking out the Islamic Republic's oil and gas sites and vital infrastructure. Nuclear sites could be on the table, but President Biden is objecting to this, at least on a public level.
"The resistance in the region will not back down even with the killing of its leaders," Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared while leading Friday prayers in Tehran. "The brilliant action of our armed forces a couple of nights ago was completely legal and legitimate," he said defiantly in the rare appearance. Iran will not "procrastinate nor act hastily to carry out its duty" in confronting Israel, he said. While not directly threatening Israel or the US, he was described at that moment as grasping the barrel of a rifle with his left hand. But a much more specific threat came from Iran's Revolutionary Guards deputy commander Ali Fadavi, who was quoted in state media as saying that any Israeli attack would be met with strikes on Israel's own energy installations. "If the occupiers make such a mistake, we will target all their energy sources, installations and all refineries and gas fields," the IRGC's Fadavi said.

Gilbert Doctorow, Countdown in Iran to Israel’s counterstrike: ‘Spotlight’ on Press TV The address yesterday of Iran’s Supreme Leader Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khameneh in a central square of Teheran following Friday prayers which drew an audience of hundreds of thousands chanting ‘death to Israel’ was the first of its kind in more than four years. Later in the day, the country’s English language global broadcaster Press TV reached out to foreign talking heads for comment on what he said. I and Yves Engler, a political activist in Montreal were brought on air for a 15-minute round of questions and answers.
https://www.urmedium.net/c/presstv/131140
Put in brief, the Supreme Leader directed his attention exclusively at the crimes Israel is perpetrating in the neighborhood, for which it will be properly punished by Iran and its allies. He called upon the entire Muslim world to unite in support of this just fight.
What I found most striking in the report on the Ayatollah’s speech and in the formulation of all questions for our discussion by presenter Bardia Honardar is that all attention is directed solely against Israel; hardly a word is said about the United States’ role in the unfolding catastrophe in Gaza and Lebanon.
What I make of this is the following: Israel as the clearly visible perpetrator of the ongoing genocide and atrocities in the region is a country generally reviled at the popular as well as state level throughout the Muslim world. The enabler of Israel’s crimes, or, as I suggest, the power guiding Israel’s rampage for its own purposes, the United States, presents a more divisive issue for Muslim countries worldwide, since so many of them are embedded with U.S. joint defense agreements and are host to American military bases.
Support for Iran’s defense against Israel by these latter states and peoples who are embedded with Washington is being ‘requested’ by Teheran in an entirely separate way from the Ayatollah’s outreach to co-religionists. This took place at a meeting with the Gulf States in which Iran threatened to attack their oil rigs and refineries in case Israel attacks Iran’s hydrocarbon industry, which would be done with the approval and likely the military support of Washington. So much for ‘Muslim unity’ as an abstract concept. https://gilbertdoctorow.com/2024/10/05/countdown-in-iran-to-israels-counterstrike-spotlight-on-press-tv/

Who benefits from strained relations between "Israel" and Russia? Russian Anti-Air Missiles Likely Engaged Israeli Jets Attacking Syria's Coast Israeli strikes have hit Syria for multiple straight days, with the latest being on the outskirts of Damascus, in the western part of the Rif Dimashq Governorate near Lebanon, on Thursday morning. Syrian national media says anti-air defense missiles are confronting "hostile targets".
But it was an overnight major attack on Syria's coast which has for the first time brought Israel close to clashing with the Russian military. An Israeli drone as well as warplanes reportedly targeted sites in the coastal Syrian city of Jableh before daybreak. A weapons depot was apparently targeted and destroyed, which crucially was situated near the Hmeimim Air Base, the largest Russian air base in Syria.
Chinese state media has cited a war monitor to say that "Syrian air defenses and Russian forces responded to the attack within 40 to 50 minutes."... The same aforementioned report detailed that "While there is no official confirmation, the pro-government Sham FM radio said the sounds heard in the skies over Jableh were the air defenses intercepting targets off the coast." (Unverified reports in Arabic media say that the Russian airbase was directly struck, but other reports dispute this.) .. ..Throughout the Syrian proxy war, there had been many close calls where Israel and Russia nearly clashed, but this has been carefully avoided.
The most deadly example involved a September 2018 Israeli attack on Syria which ended in the downing of a large Russian reconnaissance plane. It had been patrolling over the Syrian coastal area during a surprise Israeli air raid, but was reportedly struck by 'friendly fire' from Syrian anti-air batteries as they attempted to repel the Israeli planes. 15 Russian crew members were killed.
So far there has been no official government confirmation that Russia engaged inbound Israeli jets in this newest incident over Jableh and Hmeimim Air Base. Russian accounts have denied that the base was directly attacked... ..Syrian and regional analyst Kevork Almassian has provided the following commentary ..
Israel's recent large-scale military aggression on the Syrian coast near the city of Jableh could mark a significant turning point in the ongoing regional conflict. This attack followed a meeting on Wednesday between Alexander Lavrentiev, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Special Envoy on Syria, and Ali Akbar Ahmadian, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).
During the talks, Lavrentiev expressed hope that Israel would heed Iran's warnings. Israel appears to have interpreted this meeting, along with Lavrentiev's statements, as tacit Russian approval of Iran’s retaliatory actions. Consequently, Israel targeted warehouses of the Russian forces. This likely explains the joint response from Syrian and Russian air defenses, marking a departure from previous Israeli strikes, where Russia had refrained from direct involvement in the defense effort.
Following the conclusion of the attack at 5:50 AM, a Russian air patrol was observed over Latakia. The Israeli strike on a Russian facility in Syria is a serious escalation. Netanyahu’s actions suggest he is no longer solely confronting the "Axis of Resistance" but is also risking Russian interests. Should Moscow choose to respond, it could dramatically alter the balance of power in the region. https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/russian-anti-air-missiles-likely-engaged-israeli-jets-attacking-syrias-coast#google_vignette

VW can't sell electric cars, so they jacked-up the price of diesel and gas cars, and those are not selling as well now, either. EU car industry faces a ‘horror fall’ Car sales within the bloc have fallen by 200,000 vehicles in the first eight months of 2024 compared to the same period last year and things are set to get worse, Ferdinand Dudenhoeffer told the outlet. Dudenhoeffer is the founder and former director of the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) – a private institute specializing in industry analysis and transport policy.
Sales of electric cars are down 8.3% from last year, the economist pointed out, with 140,000 fewer models sold through August. ”Important large car markets such as Germany and Italy were already slightly down in the first eight months of the year,” he noted, warning that things “are not getting better.”
According to Dudenhoeffer, car manufacturers are now seeking to compensate for their losses by increasing prices. The 20 most popular gasoline-powered car models are already approximately 10% more expensive, he told Bild. https://swentr.site/business/605192-eu-car-industry-horror-fall/
Steve Kirsch, The COVID vaccine: all risk, no benefit Here's the simplest argument I have, using gold-standard government data from the US and the Czech Republic, that the COVID vaccine had no benefit whatsoever: it was all downside.
Not as big a retreat from the control-narrative as I'd like, though the comparison cohort was already down on vaccines (COVID). Fewer Young Children Getting Vaccines Of children born in 2020 or 2021, 1.2 percent have received no vaccinations at age 2, compared to 0.9 percent of children born in 2018 or 2019 at age 2, the CDC says. https://www.zerohedge.com/medical/fewer-young-children-getting-vaccines-cdc

I tasted that smell of greasy old hamburger like on the exhaust side of Carl's Jr where they must not change the fryer grease ever.
It had cooled down, slightly, and I could see the small strands of skypainting in the air I might have missed , since I usually am too busy to look at the sky.
Skypainting again.

I think it is the same with food stamps, a while ago I stood behind a couple new to it, and they had to put almost everything back from the cheap store brand and get the expensive brands, only those could be bought with their stamps. It is a false aid program - why not give poor people aid that will cover every brand? Or better yet - why not pay them enough wage so they do not have to depend on these faulty programs? Lots of people around here make 8 bucks an hour (or less if you work for the local govt). How can one live on that?
