I bought some uranium stock. The geopolitics of oil is turning out to be more treacherous than the safety management issues of nuclear power generation, IMHO. I think NPP's will make a big comeback once the hallucination of wind and solar subside. I guess we'll see. Europe is set to find out the Hard Way.

Definitely agree. LFTR is the way. I have read there are a couple of them built (or finished) in China.

The expertise to produce and maintain nuclear reactors fades rapidly.

It is almost gone in the US, outside of the world of US Navy reactors.

Decommissioning is therefore even more problematic.

Mad Max couldn't decommission a nuclear reactor. Neither can I. Neither can you.

BOOM!

Who services the French reactors? Is this One More Thing that'll be being bought from China?

The French are maintaining their expertise, but you have to keep building new reactors to maintain expertise. That is one reason why the Japanese are setting out to build more reactors.
