Please stop using the term ‘elites’. ‘Scumbags’ would be more appropriate.

It's just a functional term, not denoting anything but power-relationship status.

There is no other applicable descriptive term.

I often refer to "owners" as per George Carlin, but "elites" as a sociologic term is necessary, as in "rising elites", which has been discussed in academics in recent years.

Marie (I tried to like both your comments but failed) has a point. "Owners" is excellent John and Rising Owners is 100% educative : who could not object to that!

But there are those essays about "rising elites", and sociologists don't mean "owners", but more "upper management and some owners".

To my way of thinking the rupture with reality became total with LBJ. LBJ was a man who was always on the rise and prosecuted Vietnam to the fullest and launched the largest air sea invasion since D-Day against the Dominican Republic and attempted atomic war by having the Liberty sunk. This was Operation Cyanide. Peter Hounam reveals that the attack was part of a clandestine plan between the US and Israel known as "Operation Cyanide," designed to ensure victory for Israel in the Middle East. By blaming the attack on the Arab world, retaliation on a grand scale would be justified.

Yeah, LBJ was a demonic piece-of-work, wasn't he.

More important than Truman the American Caesar. Maybe more important than Lincoln as war leader and change maker. The Presidential elections after him point back to him. Policy door opened for Israel. Up to nuclear war.

“Trumps return to power would be better for Americans, and the rest of the world.” Only if you’re prepared to swallow bleach. You go first!

Not my personal statement, though the argument made is that he messed up and delayed the globalist agenda, so he was much less bad than Hillary would have been, and I do agree.

Trump never said anything about "swallowing bleach" or injecting it, or any of those similar fabrications, back when he was poorly conveying actual treatments being used like IV vitamin-C and hydroxychloroquine.

I presume that you already know that.

I did not vote for Trump, and intend to vote for Jill Stein again. I wrote-in Tulsi Gabbard in 2020. US presidential elections are always a big opinion-poll. Twas ever thus.

Thanks for the clarification. I always enjoy reading your essays because they are counterintuitive!

Trump returning to power , IF he maintains the course of his first term, is truly good news for "the rest of the world".And it would seem - to outsiders like me - good for America. It's impossible to understand why so many Americans hate him. 4 years, no war, some prosperity at home, energy self sufficiency? I predict that the Fed will crash the dollar / debt on his watch...

Thanks ("mean Greek") Eleni.

I'm not sure the Fed wants to crash the $US, but it is going down, and they'd like the Euro-$ part to go down first, as per Tom Luongo's analysis.

The Central Park five are still waiting for an apology as is Obama for Trumps Birther nonsense and thinly disguised racism. Trump is a felon, sexual misogynist and sociopath who lied over 30,000 times to the American people, that is a role model that was rejected by the American voter in the last election.

I’m seeing Biden in there as a humiliation ritual. It’s worsening the hypernormalisation but not enabling localisation.

It tells the global population that the leader of the the most powerful country in the world is not a leader. You don’t have a leader. We lead.
