Good post as usual. As per usual our task is to find a way to survive together on a much abused, much harmed planet. Just a reminder to self: Everybody Hurts. Pain can stop us or it can serve as a blazing light of inner strength to see us through. WE WILL OVERCOME.

Good news from the Israeli ally of NATO is they are happy to help with their oil via a pipeline from Egypt. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/06/20/israel-egypt-turkey-gas-europe/

On Wednesday, Israel agreed to pipe billions of dollars’ worth of natural gas to Europe via Egyptian liquefaction facilities, as Russia halts supplies and the continent scrambles to refill dwindling stockpiles. The landmark memorandum of understanding, signed by the Israeli and Egyptian energy ministers and representatives of the European Commission, aims to extricate Europe from Russian energy “blackmail,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in Jerusalem, a day before flying to the signing ceremony in Cairo.

Quite a paradox the energy boondoggle.

Made worse by the Green agenda to de-industrialize as swiftly as possible and the unspoken agenda of defenestrating humanity. Dr. John, your engineering background may answer a question about power lines and inefficiency. Years ago a high school friend was a power engineer for PG&E and he commented on the tremendous energy loss on transmission. Is there a way around this loss that can make energy delivery more useful?
