Slipping Out Sideways, After going to bed last night with a troubled mind that there were explosions in Iran, I was relieved this morning to discover that they were all up in the air, and that Israel had authored them through drones, maybe even from local proxies. No damage or death actually happened in Natanz, where Iran's biggest nuclear facility is, after Iran said it would strike Israeli nuclear plants if Israel hit Iranian nuclear plants, having already proved that they could.

Fake attack? I doubt it was fake. Unless anything but the Samson option is fake. I think Iran repelled the attack. Iran also knows where in Israel to strike and knows further the limitations of the enemy combat space. Israel knows Iran has fissile material able to be ready to use quickly. It has some idea of how much and probably which Iranian military units are responsible. And Israel has Dolphin class submarines from Germany able to launch atomics. However to remain an intact nation state and integrate fresh territory by ethnic cleansing requires other nation states to continue to allow it. The International State Systems exists as a political fact. Israel has encountered push back by Iran to an unknown extent. Russia and China will cooperate with Iran to resist Israel and deter a nuclear war. The question is the mad dog Netanyahu and the twin on a different leash called the USA. Why have a limit? So far overwhelming force and the mad man thesis since Nixon and Kissinger has allowed the USA to wreak havoc. How can the USA believe there is a step too far after Covid? How much damage is the calculation. What correct application for force triggers a New World Order avalanche keeping from the US view key power centers intact?
Sadly, the US is sitting this one out. Unwilling to hold countries accountable to some standard of behavior that the US itself is not willing to adhere to. I have no knowledge of Iran, but am more than willing to have them confront Israel with full force. Clearly the UN is unwilling.
There was a guy protesting against the US the treatment of Romania. He tied a strong rope to a garage can and lowered it 20 feet from the Golden Gate Bridge.
He shimmied down to that can and hung out his banner. Rush hour came and went, then another one. He was expecting news helicopters by now, instead he was freezing his ass off. So he decided to climb up to the deck and call off the protest. He didn't make it, he feel into bay.
Discovered by a fisherman he finally some news coverage. We can safely call that a wet noodle. We should also henceforth refer to Bibi as the wet noodle
