Given that once upon a time when the Wild Bunch and the 20 minute ballet of bullets played out the Vietnam War was live on TV but only the movie was deemed very violent. The world is not ready for spiritual enlightenment and ignores or meows about ultra violence. Vaccines remain all the rage and mass murder by nations is agreeable as well with a screen narrative. Is there a logic of the brake? No. A logical of no speed limit and no doubt that might is right

' I have long observed that "there are 2 kinds of Christians": Just nuke Gaza, get it over quick, advises U.S. Representative Tim Walberg, Evangelical Zionist On March 25, U.S. Representative Tim Walberg, Republican of Michigan, was speaking at a town hall meeting in Dundee, Michigan. He was asked a question about why U.S. money is being spent to build a port to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza.'

I wonder how many people will say: 'Use AI targeting to wipe out Walberg's entire family. Do it quickly, bomb his entire family to smithereens'?

He could have no complaints if people did that, they would be treating him the way that he fervently treats Palestinians.

The USA has been in conflict from its inception. English folk left their homes because they could not get along with their neighbors (the Pilgrims, at least) and sailed west to the big unknown. They brought their un-neighborliness with them, and fought with the indigenous people who were, at least initially, willing to welcome them. As the number of “settlers” increased, their population provided pressure on the surrounding indigenous people, who were forced at gun point to give up their land. This pattern continued all the way to the Pacific Ocean, where water finally stopped the settlers.

Perhaps the only difference between the USA and Israel is the relatively small size of Palestine. In California, which the settlers had bought from Mexico after forcing that country into a destructive war, settlers stole land from the indigenous “Indians”, murdered, and pillaged. Apparently without punishment, and certainly in violation of the peace treaty.

Somehow this does not sound very different from what Israel is doing to Gaza. Certainly the scale is different. I abhor the treatment of the people of Gaza. My govt. finds no reason to interfere — when has it ever when self-serving profit was at stake?

I have taken to frequent weeping at the thought that America condoned the destruction of Gaza, while the rest of the world stood around with the heads in the sand (actually I was going to write “up their . . .” but you get the idea).

For me this is a realization that the idea of respectful co-existence of the world’s people is a complete lie. My sentiments matter to my own govt. not a whit.

Israel must be feeling quite good about itself. It has insulted the rest of the nations and gotten verbal criticism at worst. No one dares take Israel to task, not even the United Nations which is demonstrating its worthlessness and powerlessness. In reality, that is a relief, because the USA can quit the UN and save ourselves the annual membership cost. Money which we can then squander on Ukraine (I hope not!).

Reading about Walberg is chilling. He is committed to his beliefs and refuses to recognize the human cost — he is a monster. And worse, he is an American monster.

The nuclear threat is also chilling. It is blackmail. I admit to thinking “bring it on”. And hope that Israel’s Arab neighbors will retaliate.

We Americans are left with the realization that political action committes, such as AIPAC which is well funded with Jewish dollars, should not have the impact on American foreign policy that AIPAC has recently demonstrated. American foreign policy should not be the cause of religious war at home. I pray we use the next few months to rethink our government’s practices and actions. We seem to have a problem with scale: at the time the courts are worrying about a few killed intrauterine fertilization fetuses, we ignore the genocide happening in Gaza and the Palestinian settlements claimed by Israel. Oy vey.

To change the subject, I laughed out loud at the statement that “Lewinsky was a Mossad honey trap.” That Clinton was blackmailable was completely his doing. What public good did he ever accomplish?

Hurrah for JMG. Since the bankers got the upper hand in America in the 90s, it’s been downhill. I admire China for looking for a different economic and financial model. Somebody has to find it. America seems determined to continue as it is, which only encourages the likes of the WEF. That old “rising tide” canard has to die. The "cabal of capital” has such a sweet ring.
