John Helmer came up with good sleuthing work on Durov's financing of Telegram. The long and short of it, however, is that if Durov acted like a Zionist puppet serving as a platform custodian for the Chosenites, he wouldn't have many financial problems. Telegram would be riddled with backdoors, would be running material backing "Israel's right to defend itself," and would treat anti-Zionism as antisemitism. He's not doing that.
