As a result, I have subscribed to Meryl's page (she is reading pretty much what I'm reading, so I expect her pieces to be compatible with mine).
Might want to add that Hungary receives half of its energy from Russia. Well, the other half is a nuclear plant that is also Russian-built and maintained, so that makes it 100 percent. :)
People sing songs about the way Hungary's leadership is "standing up against the EU," but the truth is that even those on the top don't want to be without heat and electricity. :)
Interesting, Dr John. Cliff High did a podcast recently about the earth expanding (a contrary theory vs tectonic continental shifts). He said there’s a huge trench off the coast of Oregon that is spewing warm fresh water. Not sure about any of this but it’s fascinating.
This is a long read, but it is presented from different scientific angles of analysis, so you don't actually have to hold a vast mental-set. This is such fine work!
The ocean warming via underwater volcanoes was being propounded for many years by the late owner of the site www.iceagenow.info . Whilst I didn't agree with everything he said, I did agree that this was a potential basis for ocean warming and asked the pertinent question: 'Is anyone in the world of science actually trying to find out how many underwater volcanoes there are?'
It's really very important that people start to grasp the complexity of the simple question: 'what is the earth's temperature?'
Do you measure the mesosphere, the troposphere, the stratosphere?
Do you measure land-based surface temperatures?
Do you measure ocean surface temperatures?
Do you measure the temperature of the oceans from top to bottom?
Do you try and get a handle of the temperature of the inner core of the earth??
When you realise that all these components can interact with each other, exchange energy with each other, not to mention the fact that the incoming solar radiation can also affect the total heat in several of these components, you start to realise the complexity.
If you then try to say that a single 'earth temperature' measurement has contributions from all those phases, you then have to decide what fraction you assign to each component and why.
All in all, drawing correct scientific conclusions from an approach is going to require a lot of rigour and possibly an ability to say: 'this is actually impossible'.
I haven't even gotten into whether you should measure temperature using satellites, using balloons, using thermometers (and if those, what kinds).
It's a hugely complex topic that the alarmists try to reduce to simplicity for reasons most of us are more than aware of.....
I am a simple analyst John and observe that the UK Met Office can't get a 5-day forecast right let alone decades ahead, even given all their super-computers to boot. So, my simple logic says BS and I go on to grow my garden.
In my book the 'experts' are exactly that: "An Ex is a 'has-been', and a spurt, is a drip under pressure. Go figure. :-D
The earth expanding, getting fatter and our minds shrinking and meanwhile you’re gathering some dietary bioweapons in your warehouse, thanks John for your info.
Sorry to hear that John, I didn't know. My prayers and good wishes go to you. The Buddhists tell us that suffering is due to desire. If I can let go of desire I can be relieved of suffering?
But my Creator tells me the same thing! There maybe be a connection?
"Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous. It does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
Let me clarify. I do not have colon cancer (that I know of).
My intended meaning was that eating fresh vegetables is good to help prevent colon cancer. (Avoiding vegetables and eating a lot of flame-cooked commercial meat raises risk for colon cancer.)
There are different kinds of suffering of course. Some have more to do with attitude and desire/rejection... You can stub your toe in the night, too.
Thank you for your article.

I really appreciated the rigor and thoroughness in this presentation, and maintained focus for 4 hours. The comments section is also good.

more perspective on ocean floor and below effects on "climate change" far exceeding human effects

Thanks Dr. John!
You did all of the work, Amigo!
The earth expanding, getting fatter and our minds shrinking and meanwhile you’re gathering some dietary bioweapons in your warehouse, thanks John for your info.
I'm not sure the earth is expanding. They say the universe is, but I can't really tell, myself.
I seek to dine on vegetables that reduce biological risks and toxins.
:-)
Dining on vegs that reduce….than at least your views on the earth have expanded not?
Fighting colon-cancer at every meal.

I’m all with you….glioma
Glioma creeps up on a person.

Getting older too 👨🦳🤷♂️

High John just letting you know I read each blog post but do it from my mail app so rarely comment. Great round up and analysis brother.
Thnk You, Amigo! I hope your fall is going well.
