I have come up with a way to describe the coming year. The Year Of Excuses!. That is if we are lucky and "our" narrative becomes the common one. Otherwise the MACHINE continues to roll over us all, Fingers crossed.

Yes, the more we live under the Divine Will and Order, the more Light lives in us & we see lies like big red flags.

If we live in darkness, lies can creep in undetected.

I pray for everyone to love the Light and live as we are designed to live. One Light, One Love and One Will in Christ.

Thanks for validating truth, instead of cowardly staying silent.

I tried to warn family and friends about being herded into being given the experimental COVID shot with no informed consent and no liability, but many sadly did not head my warnings to their own sad consequences. If more doctors had your courage, more people would have listened to their own common sense and would still be here.

Hi John and best to you for 2023

You must read (in case you have not yet) FA Hayek's Road To Serfdom (1945-46).

Though I do not agree with certain things he points to - however as to what you say "overrun the defenders of truth"... The book might help. There is less and less (until there is none) value in defending truth - especially in this form of surveillance capitalism that we all have vouched for and are investing in. Yes this 'sub'stack business included.

Keep the resistance ! Best !

This statement is a summation, a conclusion, based on assumptions about how life works.

"There is less and less (until there is none) value in defending truth - especially in this form of surveillance capitalism that we all have vouched for and are investing in. "

I suspect that we have different assumptions about how life works, and what the future will bring.

From my perspective, allowing anything but truth to dwell in consciousness works against well being, anything but truth is enslaving and parasitic in one way or another.

Hi John

As you say "I suspect that we have different assumptions about how life works..."

No one really figured that yet - however we do have thousands of definitions, and one can

create a new one still. So, my point was about not "truth" because that will always be relative (nothing stays the same, so how can truth?).

I do agree as a useful thought what you said "truth to dwell in consciousness works against well being..." However, for a moment think, what if, a child has no food no home no future, what good is consciousness or even the concept of well being". Are we so lucky (privileged) to discuss and dwell on.

about how life works - no clue! However as Hannah Arendt said "question everything".

Which is why I questioned - what are we feeding into? Here on Substack, or any writing platform? Truth or the new realm of surveillance capitalism. It's not a question rather an observation. Best to you ! and the incoming text ! Resist we must...

The search for truth in all things is what I am working on.

"For a starving man, a bowl of rice is the best teaching", comes to mind.

One must always do one's best in any situation.

"How life works"... I find Karma, spiritual cause-and-effect to work in my life, so things are not simply mechanical. If Karma works, then always striving for truth in knowledge and in personal action will be of direct benefit, and if one seeks to benefit others, paths will open to do that.

Surveillance-capitalism... yes, an ongoing worry. I try to not be worth much to them.

Hi John

as you say "spiritual cause-and-effect to work in my life" Hence does is apply to everyone

else. Say an american pilot dropping bombs over a random marriage party or a jihadi who is about to self-detonate inside a nightclub full of teenagers. I get your Karma point (since I am Indian). Surveillance capitalism or the surveillance state is not a worry as such - it is the zeitgeist (spirit of the times). Is why I suggested the book 'Road To Serfdom' FA Hayek. In any case, reading all your articles - with objectivity. Kudos!

TO INCREASE ABSORPTION of hard to absorb "herbs".  "In Ayurvedic medicine you take remedies together with ghee and honey - fat and sugar." (Elizabeth)

From some reading I am thinking that some? basic simple process of coating with a sugar and then a fat? or a fat then a sugar? or all at once? would substantially increase absorption of many harder to absorb herbs and the like.

"While searching to find how to increase absorption of quercetin I found two patents. The first is an Indena SpA patent concerning "Quercefit"- "Quercetin Phytosome" In their earlier application documents ( only the final 2020 patent seems easily available now) they made an interesting revelation that a simple mechanical mixture of quercetin and maltodextrin or fructose (or other sugar) and lecithin (they use sunflower) in the range of 1-1-1 or any number of ratios increased absorption by 10 times while their lysosomal/phytosome product where they dissolve all in 190 proof ethanol which, at that time, they said increased absorption by 20 times. Now in the final document they claim that that their full process increases absorption by 50 times and they make no mention of the efficacy of the simple mechanical mixture but they do put a graph at the very beginning of the document which shows the low absorption of quercetin, the higher absorption of the :"physical mixture" (mechanical mixture) and the highest absorption of their "solid dispersion" which is their alcohol dissolved and dried "phytosome product Quercefit. That graph is best seen in the pdf US20200.... They say the use of the "sugar" is important.

A mortar and pestle is the obvious choice.I first used the back of a tablespoon against a plate to grind together the quercetin and the maltodextrin (sugar) then the lecithin.

I have since dissolved the "sugar" (nutricost organic maltodextrin "TapiOK" brand) in a bit of water then mixed in the harder to absorb "herb" then mixed in the Now brand sunflower lecithin then added olive oil. I wonder would it be better to dry the maltodextrin herb lecithin mix then add olive oil? Dissolving the maltodextrin does seem more effective way to "attach" the "sugar", and lecithin does attach to both water and fat and may, then, help present to a fat receptive absorption site in the body as does the maltodextrin absorb easily into the body as per its use by elite long distance runners (some like straight maltodextrin and some like 3 parts maltodextrin and 1 part fructose in water +++ for fuel and hydration during the run)

the other patent US8440... helps inform the usefulness of taking quercetin with B3 and C.

from the other patent "Additional and related Surprising observations include that a combination of quercetin, vitamin B3. and vitamin C maintains quercetin levels in plasma up to five times those of quercetin alone or a combination of quercetin..."

Thank You for all you share. James

Thnk you for your research, James. Taking lecithin with quercetin worked well for me (personally, when I had Delta COVID) to increase absorption of the quercetin fom the gut, so the quercetin could get into the bloodstream to help increase zinc absorption by the cells, since intracellular zinc inhibites coronavirus replication.

Yes, in Austin, and we have been fixing up our place in Yoakum, where the larger vegetable garden is. I noticed new subscriptions from Dr. Mercola's site this morning, and I scanned it, seeing an article about myself, which I cannot read, since I'm not subscribed.

Go Down Gardening tells the story of my firing, on my original Google blog.

https://www.johndayblog.com/2021/10/go-down-gardening.html

I started the Substack blog, a mirror of the Google blog, when Google overtly censored me, taking down my blog and our email, which we've had since 2004. It helps me track Google censorship. They have taken down 3 of my articles, the first just as Russia was about to invade Ukraine, which is where my Substack stories begin.

Do feel free to copy and paste the Mercola story about me here. I'd like to see it.

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

The story of Dr. John Day in Texas is an illustration of just how upside-down the medical establishment is today

All throughout the “COVID pandemic,” Dr. Day was serving his patients and doing his job with soul

Not only was he doing his job with soul — being the only one at his clinic who was actually treating COVID patients — he was also helping patients on his free time and volunteering at the clinic by growing a community garden

When the vaccine mandates were announced, Dr. Day declined the injection and also spoke up against the dehumanization of the “unvaccinated”

While, based on Abbot’s executive order, the clinic administration could not proceed with the plan of firing Dr. Day for declining the injection, he was none the less fired in October 2021 for “offending” people with his views and for helping a disabled patient in a wheelchair run a difficult errand, on his “off” day

Summary

This story is about a caring and fearless family doctor in Texas, Dr. John Day, who was fired from his job for having a soul — and for not selling out to the robots. Recently, I had the joy of interviewing Dr. Day, and I was simply struck by his almost child-like purity and the warrior courage with which he stood his ground.

Dr. Day was serving his patients and actually “saving lives” all throughout the “COVID pandemic.” Early on, when appropriate, he prescribed hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin — and once he was forbidden from doing so by the clinic administration, he still found ways to help his patients using available treatments. When the vaccine mandates were announced, Dr. Day objected to the mandates and spoke against the dehumanization of the “unvaccinated.”

Being an all-around soulful, pure-hearted human being, he was also helping patients on his free time and volunteering by growing a community garden at the clinic. And it seems like, at some point, his pure-hearted, humble presence became just too uncomfortable for the functionaries and the administrators. Perhaps, his presences reminded them of the existence of the soul, something they didn’t want to look at. So they fired him.

It seems to me that they fired him so that their own cowardice would stop reflecting in the mirror of his selfless actions — so that their cowardice, in their own eyes, could pass for “just following orders.”

Who Is Dr. John Day?

As I wrote on my Substack, Dr. Day has “spent most of his career working in areas of medicine that are patient-focused and light on industry glamor, including in-patient psychiatry at a public hospital in Texas.”

In late 2019, he heard reports out of China and began to follow the “pandemic” story closely, especially any information he could find on available treatments. On a side note, in case anyone has forgotten, here is a 2005 study, published on the NIH website, titled, “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.”

Anyway, in the thick of 2020, after researching Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine as potential treatments, Dr. Day started prescribing Hydroxychloroquine to the patients who he thought could benefit from it.

Flashback to 2020

From the get-go, the situation was made difficult by the overall chaos. Many doctors were themselves scared, getting EKGs for patients (required to prescribe HCQ) was hard, COVID test results were taking forever to come back while HCQ needed to be prescribed early on (and frankly, as we know, the tests themselves were a joke — but they still needed to be used), etc.

Even so, in the midst of that chaos, Dr. Day was calmly doing what he could, and he was the only physician at the clinic actively treating COVID patients. However, soon enough, a lot of pressure was created from above to banish Hydroxychloroquine, and so was told by the clinic administrator to not prescribe it.

Then in August 2020, Dr. Day became familiar with the COVID protocol by Professor Thomas Borody, an Australian gastroenterologist who had made a name for himself for developing an antibiotic protocol to treat H. Pylori (a bacterium, famously linked to stomach ulcers by Australians Robin J. Warren and Barry J. Marshall). Here a press release, printed by NASDAQ.com, in August 2020:

“SYDNEY, Aug 19, 2020 - (ACN Newswire) - - Triple therapy specialist Professor Thomas Borody, famous for curing peptic ulcers using a triple antibiotic therapy saving millions of lives, today released the COVID-19 treatment protocol to Australian GPs, who can legally prescribe it to their COVID-19 positive patients, and can also prescribe it as a preventative medication.

Borody says this could be the fastest and safest way to end the pandemic in Australia within 6-8 weeks.”

Having learned about ivermectin’s potential healing effect on COVID patients, Dr. Day became one of the brave doctors in the U.S., actively using ivermectin to treat COVID. His patients were getting better, and he didn’t lose any.

But then, “in a Stalinesque manner,” he was forbidden by the clinic administration to prescribe not just HCQ but also ivermectin. “Dr. Day then came up with mostly over-the-counter combinations that mimicked the medicines he could no longer prescribe to the patients for political (fascist?) reasons.”

Then, “when the mandates were announced, Dr. Day declined the injection and was scheduled to be fired — but then the plot got even thicker. In August 2021, Governor Abbot issued an executive order undermining vaccines mandates in Texas. Then, Dr. Day was fired for “cause,” namely, for helping a disabled patient, on his free time, get her stolen ID renewed at the DMV — and also for “offending” people by expressing his strong views on the mandates.”

“Dr. Day was fired by the administration on his ‘off’ day as he, in his gardening clothes, was planting vegetables in the clinic garden. His small victory was that the plan to fire him in secret, on the day when he wasn’t supposed to be there, didn’t work out. He walked into the office in his gardening clothes, and all his colleagues saw what happened.”

Remarkably, even though they so it, no one stood up for him. No on objected. Today, the hero doctor is dedicating his time to blogging and remodeling his house. Before I interviewed him, he was also interviewed by another hero doctor of our times, Dr. Meryl Nass.
