Nice to see someone else who reads Ethical Skeptic! I started with boriquagato in summer 2020 and progressed to his commenters/ readership. And yes, I too believe we can set intentions to navigate through this time. I know of astrologers, chaos magicians, genomic scientists, artists, neuroscientists, biomedical inventors, financial analysts, etc. who have educated their readers on what is really going on (dollar reserve currency, false flags, 4th Industrial Revolution, etc.) who hold out hope.
Even if only gold currency existed men would wage war. Men are I think duplex and unless the spiritual in man overcomes man the struggle continues. 30 years ago Freeman Dyson wrote a book ironically entitled Weapons and Hope. His idea is smarter weapons bring less casualties in war and ultimately will abolish it. We could view the mercenary armies of Italy or Europe as pre-modern weapons of hope. As nations dissolve and regions emerge perhaps the new emerges.
It's POSSIBLE that things could go better than it seems they will right now. I think it's very important that we stay OPEN TO POSSIBILITIES, and not simply decide our fate ahead of time, as if it cannot be changed. That said, we have a responsibility to the children and young people to make an effort to protect them, and the elderly, and to keep the faith, try and be hopeful, try and make things better, right now. I do agree with much of what you're saying, as far as what's going on now and how that has been built up and made to happen, to a great degree.
