Thank you Dr. John and happy Christmas to all here.

Just want to take this opportunity to remind ourselves that NATO means NORTH ATLANTIC treaty organisation....if you list the European countries with any actual connection to the north Atlantic you will just about get the true US-oriented (and Russophobic) picture :-)

Portugal, Spain and France are considered "South" in Europe and in the minds of NATO....just sayin'.

ps That's a fine staircase and banister!

Thanks Eleni. The staircase and banister might be sturdier than "NATO".

Happy winter solstice and Merry Christmas.

We can only hope regarding NATO :-))) but the stairs look fine!

Very, very sturdy. All screwed and glued and reinforced. The stairs are all oak.

The banisters are rigidly screwed and glued together, then screwed into floor joists and wall studs.

The obituary report on the radio has recently changed died suddenly to died unexpectedly.

Got it:

"Died unexpectedly" is the new "died suddenly", which was the new "extremely rare".

High tech American and NATO weapons are being used to attack inside Russia, and also the newly added oblasts. The US must be allowing this targeting.

Russia allows this to continue as a military and as a diplomatic strategy. War is hell. The wars are good for looting though. Organized state based and ruthlessly cosmopolitan crime gangs blend everywhere. Man and Superman plays on stage where Brigand and Industrialist meet to know one another as brothers.

There may be or have been some glitch in the comments/likes section.

It's a mystery to me.
