The weird x-rays and lung problems in young people were supposed to be from vaping, specifically a "mellowing additive", used in movie-theater popcorn, which caused lung fibrosis if inhaled too much.
Even addicts know not to take drugs that kill, otherwise they would do a lot more fentanyl etc. They aren't suicidal. Once word gets out they avoid that stuff.

She talks exactly like that... great book.
Yet in order to win this war we must convince the Bureaucrats which is not easy.
Fascism applies to the Hivemind thinking who are weak & lazy.
