Had to cover my fully bloomed out pear trees today. Scheduled ice nucleation for central Arkansas tonight. Been knowing about the weather warfare being unleashed on unsuspecting citizens for over ten years now.

So when the same controllers started pissing aboot the measures "needed" for the safety from a world wide virus. It became clear from the get-go this was another attack on the populations.

I'll bet anyone a dollar to a donut, we ain't seen the last of it.

The most obvious reason for UK 'carbon emissions' decreasing since 1970 is that most of UK-based heavy industry has been mothballed. Coal mining reduced to almost a rump. Steel production going down and down. Shipbuilding on a decline. Aluminium smelting going down. Etc etc.

A lot of this is associated with Mrs Thatcher's dream of 'turning the UK into a financial casino'. She didn't shut things down any faster than Labour before her, but she was overtly hostile to manufacturing unless the workers were utterly powerless. She encouraged the collapse of UK-owned carmaking and then brought the Japanese in. To be fair to her, that alliance has been long-term and created long-term employment for a variety of places in the North of England (Derby, Sunderland etc). But it in no way replaced all the manufacturing jobs lost....

Is this a good thing, a bad thing? Well, who knows. We now have some of the worst poverty again and food banks are increasing in number and scope. We also have small numbers of people so rich that they simply don't know what to do with all their money. Some might say that they should give 50% of it to feed the needy.....but the mindset of the nouveau riche is usually very hostile to 'sponging workshy useless eaters'.....
