garden is cranking John. You are making me jealous. Still I got shit loads of olives curing and other stuff too. Cold here but still the driest times in around a century. I hope it changes.
I planted a lot of tiny little olive trees oin Yoakum in March, and have 2 that I planted in 2019, but these super-frezes, one per winter since Valentine's Day 2021, keep killing my olives back to the roots, and took out most of my Mexican avocado trees, except the 5 that keep coming back from the roots, which are mysteries if they ever get to make anavocado. Everything that was grafted varieties died at the graft.
These pics are from Austin, not the larger Yoakum garden and orchard-attempt.
I wish you well, and good rains in your coming spring.
We have had June rains extend into July, with flash-flooding in surrounding areas, but neither of our houses is subject to that, due to locations. The gardens are doing unusually well for July, as a result.
I'm a big fan of Michael Hudson's, but his exposition often needs editing. You quote him:
Michael Hudson, Why America No Longer Makes Its Own Future: I think that Trump’s bill — the (Republican) Big Beautiful (Budget Deficit) Bill — along with Trump’s tariff policy will have the effect of ending dollar hegemony and will lead to a falling exchange rate of the dollar because Trump has said he wants the dollar’s exchange rate to go down, imagining that this is going to make America’s industrial exports less expensive. {MG: Trump's is not imagining that this will make America's industrial exports less expensive--by definition of "a falling exchange rate" it will make them less expensive, BUT..b/c America has so few industrial exports, this will not correct the trade deficit, which is Trump's target b/c Trump has a child's understanding of the subject}, HENCE,
The problem is it doesn’t have many industrial exports anymore. They’re all made abroad... ..So the effect is going to end — the dollar’s free lunch — this exorbitant privilege of being able to run huge military and trade deficits, without having to see its exchange rate decline and prices rise. Now you’re having a flight out of the dollar. The dollar’s exchange rate has gone down 10%.
There's a reasonable argument to be made that taking the country to War will stanch the Dollar exit flow, and reverse it with money flooding into Dollar based investments, Treasuries, etc. Such is a way to hide the collapse of the Dollar.
Seems we all may have been misled ?
Seems "Jeffrey Epstein" might actually be the name of an
AI sniffer-dog collecting The Dirt on every one - in case
you become Someone They need to control !!
Never long winded. Keep up the great work!
Thank You, Kindly, Ned.

Are building what I called Planet Auschwitz a long time ago.
They collapse the system to enrich themselves and make slaves out of the rest and destroy all purpose of life.
They want to control and replace us with machines... that is the purpose of the infrastucture and Trumps BBB.
Privatizing Fascism.
Fuck them and if necessary kill them.
Let the System Collapse.
My Life my World My Future.

We don't need them.
Kill the 1 % and all problems are solved.

Never be sorry to speak Truth to power.

This was way too long winded. Considering all the sources of info available, brevity is a blessing to this reader.
I cut it way down. Go elsewhere if it suits you better.
There is a lot going on, and much of it is complex.

I edit Hudson in print, but he speaks extemporaneously. I can usually reduce his text to 20% or so.
He tends to expound too much, which detracts from the clarity of his analysis.

What's the odds the US would end up like WW-2 Germany, though?
Let's don't, huh?
Historically War has been the State's preferred means of
strengthening it's control over Society. Wars provide the
ideal crisis...
A World War, or 'Deadly Viral Pandemic', are the two main
options the Ruling Class have to herd the masses into the
technocrats' Global Digital Prison by 2030...
At the moment a major war seems the most likely means...
They have, right??
